Wonder Valley
Wonder Valley is a subdivision of Sanger, located near Pine Flat Reservoir and the Kings River. The subdivision was started in the last 60´s, and contained individual parcels ranging in size from just under one acre to up to five acres. Today, about one half of the lots are built on. Upon entering Wonder Valley, you feel you take a step back in time. The Property Owners Association currently allows horses and cattle to roam freely and you may be greeted by a grazing horse as you enter the valley. For the most part, property owners fence their property to keep the roaming animals out of their gardens. Wonder Valley has deeded horse riding trails throughout. It is an easy 30 minute drive from Fresno Airport and is a short drive to the Kings River and Pine Flat Reservoir. The area is surrounded by several higher peaks that keep most of the valley fog out of the area. There is also a pond within the development that is available to residents to fish on a catch & release basis. The valley also provides the home for the Wonder Valley Ranch Resort and Conference Center. The resort makes its facilities, including a restaurant, swimming pool, tennis courts, riding arena, etc., available to residence on a membership basis to Club Wonder Valley.
