Miramonte

Miramonte is an unincorporated community in eastern Fresno County. It is located on Mill Creek 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Dunlap, at an elevation of 3094. The first Miramonte post office opened in 1909, was discontinued in 1912, and re-established in 1923. The natural landscape includes tall pines, native oaks and manzanita trees. The area is very horse and animal friendly, however, it is not uncommon to see deer, bobcats and coyotes in the wild.
